It’s springtime in Seattle, which means flowers are blooming, rain falls eight days a week, and my wife grumbles daily about wet practice rides. It also means that the endurance riding season is underway in the PNW, and I’ll have a busy schedule this year.

The two rides I did last year are back on the calendar, and some unexpectedly successful networking resulted in an incredible seven — updated, now eight! — rides that I’ll be shooting in 2017. Thanks to all the ride managers who invited me to participate at their events!

A note to riders: I never post anything “straight off the camera.” I stand behind the quality of my work and take a little extra time to make sure the images look as good as possible. However, I have a full-time job as a civil engineer, so I can’t promise that I’ll have ride photos posted as promptly as other photographers somehow manage to accomplish. (Trust me, I’m jealous of their production rate!) I ask in advance for your patience, and hope that the resulting images will be worth the wait!
